The following is an interactive troubleshooting guide if you're having issues with your home phone/landline service with MyRepublic.

Like most internet providers in New Zealand, we run our phone services through the internet. Voice Over IP (VOIP) phone services are efficient and offer a range of features that could not be possible back in the copper days. 

While Home Phone problems are rare, we have collated some basic troubleshooting guides to help you out with any problems you may be facing. Before we begin, there are a few things to check.

1. Is your internet working?
As our Home Phone works through the internet, the internet will need to be working for the phone to connect to the network. If you are facing internet issues as well, please see our Internet Not Working Guide.

2. Is your bill up-to-date?
Your services may be suspended if your bill is unpaid, you would have received a text message or voicemail message if this was the case. You can find more information about payments here.

3. Check your phone
You will need to supply your own landline phone to connect to our VOIP service. Make sure it's got power or its batteries are fully charged.

 4. Still not working?
